Description
Designed by Jonas Wagell for Tacchini, Julep is characterised by its soft and inviting shapes. This collection is influenced by the Avant-Garde movement of the 1950s, drawing on its simplicity and grandeur but adding its own contemporary, romantic and feminine feel. Julep's generous rounded lines can be found in the whole collection, including the sofa and the armchair. The fully upholstered seats look spacious and well-rounded, and yet they convey a feeling of lightness, thanks to the recessed base that inconspicuously lifts the seat off the floor. Designed for domestic environments, but also perfectly suited to collective spaces, Julep's pleasing appearance invites you to relax.

Jonas WAGELL
Jonas Wagell is an architect and designer from Stockholm. Born in 1973, he trained as a graphic designer before specialising in interior design in Stockholm.The JWDA studio, which specialises in architecture, product design and brand identity management, was founded in 2008 and is now based in a converted car repair workshop in central Stockholm, but collaborations extend from Scandinavia to China, Italy and North America. Jonas Wagell likes to create functional objects that are both simple and intelligent: objects that can be used and understood easily by the people who choose them.JWDA's most famous project is the prefabricated mini-home known as the "Mini House": for this project, in 2008 Wallpaper magazine ranked Jonas Wagell among the 50 best young architects to watch closely. Today, JWDA focuses on product design for Scandinavian and international brands.

TACCHINI
Tacchini is an Italian designer furniture brand created in 1967 by Antonio Tacchini, at a time when Italian design was disrupting global design. It went on to become the leading institution in terms of quality and creativity. The strength of its concept is found at every step of Tacchini Italia's creative process. The brand goes so far as to explain this in their own words: "from the abstraction of thought to the three-dimensional nature of the object, to embody the essence of the home." A family business passed down the generations, Tacchini Italia is constantly progressing; it ensures ties with contemporary style, enhanced by the choice of high-quality materials and ever-improving technologies.
