Founded in 2012 by Yuichiro Hori, Stellar Works has established itself as a bridge between once-opposed concepts: East an ...d West, Tradition and Modernity, Craftsmanship and Industry; drawing the best from the past to bring it into the present. Thus, Stellar Works set out to initiate an Asian renaissance in terms of aesthetics by taking the shapes, styles, and patterns characteristic of Japanese design over the centuries and adapting them to European style and standards to create something new and timeless: "We chose this path between the old and the new because we believe that good design is timeless. The goal of Stellar Works is to be timeless." The designers at Stellar Works have a gift for harmony: they create furniture that is both an extension of an existing tradition and an expression of the new.
