Saya is a chair with flowing lines and warm materials, suitable for both domestic and contract use. Designed by Lievore Altherr Molina for Arper, it is distinguished by its graphic back, which sets the tone and captivates the eye. This all-wood version, available in several shades, is ideal for the dining room or a restaurant.
Lievore Altherr Molina was founded by Alberto Lievore, Jeannette Altherr and Manel Molina in Barcelona in 1991. The studio specialises in product design, art direction and furniture, but is also at the heart of interior architecture and packaging projects. The three designers are united by a desire to design beautiful, pure forms, always with functionality in mind. Their internationally acclaimed work won Spain's National Design Award in 1999. They work with a wide range of companies including Andreu World, Arper, Emmebi, Forscarini, Poltrona Frau and Tacchini. They also continue to teach in parallel and give courses at Spanish universities. The Catifa and Leaf collections are among the largest and most popular with the public.
