Designed by Pierre Charpin, PC is a collection of refined and pure table lamps. The lamps are made of anodised aluminium, which makes the surface more resistant. The light source is concealed by a removable moulded polycarbonate diffuser, creating a soft, downwardly directed light effect and determining the shape of the lamp itself. PC table lamps are available in two sizes and two colours. Published by Hay, the PC lamps are suitable for a domestic interior as well as for a collective environment.
Hay was founded in 2002 to promote Danish design, and instead of strictly adhering to the style of the old masters, Hay reinvents their work in a more contemporary context. The company Hay reinterprets classic Nordic design forms in a modern setting, offering friendly, aesthetic, and functional designs. Hay draws inspiration from three main sources: art, architecture, and fashion, while paying particular attention to the surrounding environment and contemporary culture. The goal of Hay is to revive Danish design furniture from the 1950s and 60s. The Hay chairs perfectly embody this spirit: a timeless and minimalist design that combines comfort and functionality with modern lines.
