With Oliva, Constance Guisset has designed for Zanotta an attractive armchair, which is both light and welcoming. Seen from the front, the armchair evokes an open shell, represented by the seat and backrest with their enveloping and generous curves. The polyurethane upholstered elements conceal a steel structure above the solid wood legs. Like a piercing, the front legs pass through the seat cushion, before joining the rear legs, providing structural lightness. Seen from the back, the Oliva chair takes up more space visually and imposes its personality. Released by Zanotta, Oliva is offered in decorative fabrics that add to the overall character.
After studying at ESSEC and Sciences Po, Constance Guisset turned to design and entered ENSCI - Les Ateliers, from which she graduated in 2007. In 2008, she received numerous awards for her work, including the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris. In 2010, she was named Designer of the Year at the Salon Maison & Objets and won the Audi Talents Award. Constance Guisset set up her own design and architecture studio in 2009 and works with a number of brands. His pieces for Petite Friture are already design classics, including the Vertigo suspension lamp, and more recently the Chantilly collection of lamps for Moustache has been a great success.
