Following the Loafer SC23 lounge chair, Space Copenhagen and &Tradition are now presenting the small Loafer SC24, which is soft to the touch and conducive to conversation. Dedicated to relaxation – as its name suggests – this small armchair has been designed to make you want to linger longer and enjoy spending time with your guests around the dining table. Slightly narrower and with a higher seat for dining, it has elegantly sloping sides that rise from the backrest to comfortably accommodate your arms. The upholstered seat cushion and backrest add extra comfort. For this small armchair, Space Copenhagen explains, they wanted to 'create a hotel atmosphere, refined by its details, which make it ideal for sitting in a restaurant or simply at home'. The elegant Loafer chair by &Tradition allows you to enjoy each moment in total comfort.

SPACE COPENHAGEN

Space Copenhagen is a Danish multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2005 by Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. They work at the crossroads of disciplines, from furniture and lighting to art installations, interior design for private homes, hotels and restaurants around the world, and art direction. Their ambition is to blaze new trails by balancing opposites: classic and modern, industrial and organic, light and shade, duality and contrast. They call their approach Poetic Modernism. The principles of functionality, slow design and the study of human behaviour guide their work. The result is quality and longevity. Their various collaborations with Fredericia, AndTradition, Gubi and Mater demonstrate their ability to break with codes and constantly renew themselves. The Swoon armchair is one of their iconic creations. The use of soft colours and natural materials such as wood, stone, leather and brass develop a patina over time and lend a certain charm to objects.

And Tradition is a Danish brand founded in 2010 by Martin Kornbek Hansen. The brand offers furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1930s to the present day. And Tradition designs practical pieces for everyday use. And Tradition adapts this heritage to contemporary design, redefining and reinventing materials and shapes, while respecting nature, which provides the essential raw materials. The company does not hesitate to reissue classics, such as the lighting designs of Verner Panton, including the collection of Flowerpot Table Lamps and Flowerpot Pendants.
