Description
Designed by Vicente Garcia Jimenez, the Le Soleil pendant looks at first glance like a piece of architecture reminiscent of the profile of the Guggenheim Museum in New York. This luminous sphere, composed of irregular strips that act as a reflecting surface on the inside and as a diffuser on the outside, creates a suspended, soft and captivating glow. The material used does not let light through, which helps to reproduce the special lighting effect of this pendant. The light is diffused upwards and directed downwards. The uneven edge of the bands moves the volume of the lamp and means that the suspension lamp always looks different depending on the observer's point of view. The choice between the different colours underlines the special expression of this lamp, with a style that is both warm and playful. Foscarini's Le Soleil suspension lamp is an irresistible centre of visual attraction, to be installed alone or multiplied in space, above the dining room table or in a kitchen.
