Designed in 1956 by Hvidt & Mølgaard, the Drawn chair is a masterpiece of Danish design. Drawn from & Tradition relies on traditional artisan techniques and is made using organic materials. It brings a sense of pure honesty to any space. Available in oak or walnut, there are two different models: a larger model with armrests, or a model without armrests. The Drawn chair is made from turned, milled solid wood with a moulded wooden back. The seat is hand-woven from natural paper rope.
And Tradition is a Danish brand founded in 2010 by Martin Kornbek Hansen. The brand offers furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1930s to the present day. And Tradition designs practical pieces for everyday use.
And Tradition adapts this heritage to contemporary design, redefining and reinventing materials and shapes, while respecting nature, which provides the essential raw materials. The company does not hesitate to reissue classics, such as the lighting designs of Verner Panton, including the collection of Flowerpot Table Lamps and Flowerpot Pendants.
