Pour And Tradition, le designer Sami Kallio dessine la chaise In Between dont le point central est le jeu entre l'espace positif et négatif. Le dossier et les côtés assurent une forme stable et un bon soutien, mais les formes sont également créées par les espaces vides. Le dossier et l'assise légèrement en pente sont équilibrés par les pieds aux formes dynamiques, faisant du petit fauteuil In Between un classique du design contemporain qui s'intègre dans tous les intérieurs. Ce petit fauteuil est un manifeste du savoir-faire du designer et du travail artisanal du bois. Sami KALLIO

Sami Kallio, born in 1975 in Helsinki, Finland, grew up in Sweden, where he honed his skills in traditional wood crafts such as compression moulding and woodturning. He graduated from the Göteborg School of Design and Crafts in 2005.An award-winning designer with a studio based in Gothenburg, Sami Kallio designs furniture and interiors that translate classic forms into contemporary expressions with an industrial aesthetic that resonates with a modern-minded audience.Both man and machine play a part in many of Kallio's creations. The fusion of modern industrial manufacturing methods with traditional techniques. The result is a refreshing balance between past and present. Sami Kallio has taken part in a number of exhibitions, and the furniture collection 'The Finnish Blood In Me', which was presented at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in 2011, caused quite a stir.

And Tradition is a Danish brand founded in 2010 by Martin Kornbek Hansen. The brand offers furniture, lighting, and accessories from the 1930s to the present day. And Tradition designs practical pieces for everyday use. And Tradition adapts this heritage to contemporary design, redefining and reinventing materials and shapes, while respecting nature, which provides the essential raw materials. The company does not hesitate to reissue classics, such as the lighting designs of Verner Panton, including the collection of Flowerpot Table Lamps and Flowerpot Pendants.
