This table lamp is a creation of Ionna Vautrin. Named after a Breton lighthouse, the Binic lamp is inspired by elements found on sailing ships. It consists of an ABS base and a polycarbonate projector that projects a diffused light. Published by Foscarini, Binic is conceived as a "take away" object, a gift idea or a personal desire. An object that also seduces through the packaging designed by the designer.
Born in France in 1979, Ionna Vautrin studied design in Nantes, graduating in 2002. Since then, Ionna Vautrin has worked with some of the biggest names on the French and international design scene, including the Bouroullec brothers. The success of her creations was immediate, enabling her to work for some of the best-known brands, including Foscarini, for whom she creates lighting fixtures, as well as the French publisher Moustache, for whom she creates pure, elegant design accessories for the home. Among her creations are the Ô collection of vases and baskets and the Baobab table, full of charm and poetry for the bedroom. In 2011, Ionna Vautrin opened her own studio after winning the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris.

FOSCARINI
Foscarini was founded in 1981 in Venice. Foscarini has been producing lighting and exploring the possibilities and qualities of Murano glass since 1981, most of its design have gone on to become classics. For Foscarini, each project requires a new supplier in order to best meet the customer's requirements. Freedom of production advocated by Foscarini inspired two of the company's designers, Carlo Urbinatti and Alessancro Vecchiato, to use other materials. This strategy results in a wealth of inspirations, raw materials and technological innovations.
Foscarini's concepts, shapes and materials illuminate and transform the offerings and initiatives of international designers
