Characterised by its seat, the Betty TK1 stacking chair highlights a universal component often hidden under the frame: the seat straps. Designed by the design duo Thau & Kallio for And Tradition, Betty TK1 takes its name from a wooden theatre in Copenhagen built in 1857. Made of natural linen fibres, Betty TK1 straps are hand woven to fit every seating frame. While providing a particular view of the design, the straps that sculpt the structure of the chair provide an almost transparent aerial presence. Both light and robust, Betty TK1 is also flexible thanks to its soft and comfortable seat that envelops the body for optimal comfort. Published by And Tradition, Betty TK1 is a chair with an honest design that can suit all types of spaces.
