With Allstar, designer Konstantin Grcic offers an attractive and functional office chair. Produced by Vitra, this armchair with its emblematic shape brings a familiar and soothing touch to office spaces. At the same time, it has all the features required for an office chair: it has a synchronous mechanism with a lockable position, and the seat height and depth can be adjusted. A large plastic buckle serves as an armrest structure, backrest support and extended arm of the mechanism. It allows for separate movement of the seat and backrest and transmits the forces to the mechanism located under the seat. This office chair is also very comfortable thanks to its polyurethane foam upholstery and high-quality fabric covering. Allstar is perfect for modern office space and is also very suitable for a small home office.

Born in Munich, Germany, in 1965, Konstantin Grcic trained as a cabinetmaker at Parnham College, Dorset, before studying industrial design at the Royal College of Art in London. From 1990 to 1991 he worked in Jasper Morrison's studio in London. In 1991, he set up his own structure in Munich, "Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design", which served as both his workshop and studio. Since then, he has been designing furniture, objects and lamps for renowned manufacturers such as Magis and Flos. An adept of a functionalism that is "contemporary, feasible and concrete", his creations are not simply minimalist, but radical, pure, direct and simple, while never repeating themselves. With the publisher Plank, Konstantin Grcic is experimenting with cantilever seating and has created Miura, a stackable bar stool with sharp lines.

VITRA
Vitra was founded in 1950 by Willi Fehlbaum and Erika Fehlbaum. The design furniture company Vitra is based near Basel, Switzerland. Starting in 1981, the design brand Vitra grew and opened many subsidiaries worldwide. The founders had spotted Eames Lounge Chairs by Charles and Ray Eames during a trip to New York, USA. They were immediately captivated and therefore requested a license to produce these pieces of furniture in Europe. In 1956, Vitra acquired this license, which became one of the keys to the brand's success.
